Human Rights

Human Rights are fundamental rights and freedoms inherent to all individuals, regardless of nationality, sex, ethnicity, religion, or any other status. They encompass the right to life and liberty, freedom of expression, the right to education, and the right to work, among others. These rights are often enshrined in international law, notably in documents such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in 1948. Human Rights aim to ensure that every person can live with dignity, equality, and justice. They are universal and indivisible, meaning that they apply to everyone equally and cannot be taken away or prioritized over others. The protection and promotion of human rights are essential for maintaining peace, promoting social justice, and fostering sustainable development in societies.
